Fundraiser Follow Up

Austin, Jackson, and Courtney would like to thank the community for gifting them a handicap accessible car!

Stop by and celebrate raising $32,000 between the hours of 11AM and 12:30PM on Saturday, July 28th at the foot of Court Street near the gazebo. The boys and their NEW ride will be there to say hi!

Flower Planting

Kiwanians:  Remember, we are planting flowers at the Kiwanis Flower Garden across from the Stadium this Saturday, May 5th, from 8-10 AM! Bring a hand shovel and gloves, and wear your work clothes.

Also, like past years, each Kiwanian is expected to volunteer for a week to weed, water, and care for the flower bed. And, like last year, Susan McCabe has offered to take your week in exchange for a $20 DONATION TO ST. JUDE!!! Please give $20 to Susan to opt out of your weekly responsibility. The donation will be made on behalf of Kiwanis... what a win-win!! Thanks to Susan!

Bicycle Rodeo

The Kiwanis Bicycle Rodeo is scheduled for June 2, from 9:00am to 11:30am.  Check back for more info.

Bring A Buddy Day

It's no April Fools...Bring A Buddy Day is Tuesday, April 3rd.  The program will be Cameron Bettin from the Pekin Park District sharing the results of their recent community survey.

Parkway Clean Up Extended

It's time to start our monthly clean up on Parkway Drive.  We are supporting the city's beautification efforts by continuing to maintain our adopted stretch of Parkway between Rt 98 and Sheridan!

Please bring your own bags and use gloves if you have them---just never know what you may find, but you are making Pekin a safer place for kids by helping out!

2018 Pekin Kiwanis Grant Applications Available

Grants from the Kiwanis Club of Pekin are given for direct services and programs that align with our mission to improve family wellness in the greater Pekin community through a growing and active membership network. Kiwanis will be a positive influence in our local community…so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them and provide the support they need to thrive.

Grants amounts generally range from $100 to $500.

Grant applications must be received by the executive board on or before April 1, 2018.

Grants will be distributed on April 24th at 11:30 AM at the Pekin Country Club. A representative from the receiving organization is expected to attend.

A one-page report detailing the outcome of any grant monies received is required.  Grant applications must be emailed to the Kiwanis Club of Pekin.

1st Quarter Social - Puppy Bowl

We are throwing a pre-Superbowl party and would love for you to join us! The party will be from 2-4PM, so people can reach their final destination to watch the game! The Puppy Bowl starts at 3PM and you wont want to miss that!

Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided, BYOB if you'd like. Appetizers to share are welcome!
