AMT Joins Club to Support PCHS Dragon's Closet

The Kiwanis Club of Pekin recently completed a collection drive to help restock the Dragon's Closet at PCHS. The Closet serves as an "as-needed" pantry for PCHS students and includes food, clothing and personal items.

In addition to a car full of donations, the club also made a large financial contribution to the Dragon's Closet. Advanced Medical Transport also made a large financial contribution.

Pictured are club members Danielle Bernier and Sheila Coussens-Martin with the donated supplies. Also pictured are club members Sheila Coussen-Martin and Sherry Semonis accepting the check from Advanced Medical Transport's Josh Bradshaw.

It's Cheese Season!

Did you know that this year, we're giving away more than $5,000 to local organizations serving children? We're able to do this in large part because of YOU and your support of our largest annual fund-raisers!
One of those is now running. . . Kiwanis members are taking orders for CHEESE! As always, we have a GREAT selection of products that will be delivered fresh from the Wisconsin dairy and just in time for your Christmas gatherings!
Contact a Kiwanis member, including Bill Fleming at the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce, 346-2106, to place your order.  Deadline to order is November 26, with delivery in early December.
